Joy Horn, 73 passed away at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, CA on March 22, 2009. She was born on August 19th, 1935 in McKeesport, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Horn and survived by her two children Guy and Kim, her cats Alex and Oreo, her two grandchildren Rachael and Justin and her many adopted children she has taken in along the way. Joy lead a dual life in San Francisco and Truckee, CA. Joy loved flying airplanes, volunteering at several associations and taking care of her family and adopted children. She has touched the hearts of many throughout her life, helped many for nothing in return. She will be dearly missed by many, family and friends that know her from her different associations, including: Humane Society DeYoung Fine Arts Museum, Truckee-Donner Historical Society, Hospice, Cancer Society, Tahoe Forest Hospital - Dietary Dept.
