Image Collection
Truckee-Donner Historical Society (TDHS) is pleased to announce our most recent accomplishment -
to provide our readers with access to an online image collection WITHIN our own TDHS website.
Courtesy of a 2017 Truckee Rotary Grant for digitization, and endless hours of designing and inputting,
TDHS is providing this link to our
Image Collection Database.
Rather than waiting until the collection is complete, we are making images available as they are processed. If you have specific information about any of the photos in these collections and would like to add to the information we do have, please contact us at:
hsproat@truckeehistory.org or info@truckeehistory.org
and give as much specific information as you can provide.
The online collection includes images from Hobart Mills, the H.K. Gage, Front Street, Commercial Row, Trains - construction, locomotives, fire trains, depot, etc., the Ice Palaces, the Ice Industry, Frank L. Titus, the most recent Hultin collection, and several from the John Corbett collection and Floriston.
Additional collections will be available in the coming months. Stay tuned for more additions.

Interested in obtaining a copy of an image?
If you would like a copy of a certain image, please email info@truckeehistory.org to inquire as to the best way to obtain the image. Low resolution images are readily available and we require only that you render proper attribution rights (Photo courtesy of Truckee-Donner Historical Society, XXX Collection)(where XXX is the name of the collection if known; i.e., Gage, Corbett, Hultin, etc.) If you'd like to see other historical photos that are available, please see our online collection to view, search, or just browse through our ever growing collection.
TDHS has an arrangement with Truckee local TahoePrintShop, Inc., who can
print images you would like to purchase.

Another example of images Truckee-Donner Historical Society has provided for different events around town. The Tahoe Donner Giving Fund hosts an annual event at which some of our images are entered into the Silent Auction event. This is from the 2018 event.
