In case you hadn't heard, the California Digital Newspaper Collection, cdnc.ucr.edu, on which we historians, researchers, and genealogists rely on so heavily, has sadly lost all of its funding for 2024-2025 and CDNC will close down after June 30, 2025 unless it secures the requisite $300,000 in donations.
